Lessons that fit you.

Sprachden offers personalized one-on-one German tutoring online. Below are the areas we can work on. They are tutoring focus areas, not separate certified programs, and we mix them in whatever proportion helps you most.

Pick one topic or several. They overlap more than you would expect.

01

Beginner German

Starting from zero is a perfectly good place to start. We build a gentle foundation: the sounds of the language, the first useful phrases, and how German sentences are put together, at a speed you can actually absorb.

Beispiel

Guten Morgen.

Good morning.

Beispiel

Wie geht's?

How are you?

02

Everyday communication

Greetings, small talk, ordering, asking for directions, sharing a bit about yourself. We practice the German you are likely to need, in realistic exchanges that help it feel natural.

03

Grammar & sentence structure

Cases, word order, verb endings: German grammar has a reputation. We slow down, explain the logic behind each pattern, and practice until it stops feeling arbitrary.

Heute lerne ich Deutsch.

The verb stays in second position, even when “heute” comes first.

04

Vocabulary development

Words stay with you when they connect to something. We build vocabulary around your interests and context, and revisit it so it does not fade.

05

Pronunciation & speaking practice

Umlauts, the German ch, long and short vowels: we listen, repeat, and refine together. Speaking practice is relaxed and encouraging, because that is how confidence grows.

schön

/ʃøːn/

beautiful

06

Reading & listening comprehension

We read short texts and listen to spoken German together, pausing to unpack unfamiliar words and structures. Over time, you learn to follow the meaning without translating every word.

07

Personalized lesson pacing

Some topics will click quickly; others need another look. Because lessons are one-on-one, we can slow down, speed up, or change direction as you go. Learning German should adapt to you.
